David’s passion for coffee has seen him own his own coffee shop and experience almost every role in the coffee industry. Now working as a coffee consultant, trainer and freelance barista, he is a passionate teacher, keen to share his knowledge of coffee from farm to cup.
Using a variety of equipment, from Aeropress, to V60, to flat bottom brewers and batch brewers, we look at the importance of water, how to pick coffees suited to your taste and brewing methods and how to make the best quality brew whatever you are brewing with.
You will get hands on with a variety of methods of brewing coffee as well as time for questions and demonstrations throughout the day. At the end of the session you will take home a bag of your favourite coffee to continue making great coffees with.
The day will run from 10am until approximately 1pm.
