David’s passion for coffee has seen him own his own coffee shop and experience almost every role in the coffee industry. Now working as a coffee consultant, trainer and freelance barista, he is a passionate teacher, keen to share his knowledge of coffee from farm to cup.
This course covers the foundations of everything you will need to strive as a barista in a busy cafe. Focusing on dialling in and tasting coffee, to workflow and cleanliness, through to general maintenance and cleaning, menus and drinks preparation with a strong focus on espresso and milk texturing and latte art.
This is a hands on course, with materials to take home to enhance your practicing and a bag of coffee to brew at home or in your cafe.
The day will run from 9am until approximately 2pm.
