TERROIR

The land here is fertile, potent ground with natural springs and four small rivers running through it, below the Blue Mountains of the St Thomas Parish on the south eastern end of Jamaica. Once one of the top producing coconut farms in Jamaica, it has also grown bananas and sugar cane but has been focusing on cocoa farming since Desmond bought the land in 2002.

BEAN CHARACTER

Rich, dark and chocolatey with a very fine flavour, heaps of dried fruit jamminess and the scent of dark rum.
