    In this three hour course you will learn how to make our Pump Street bagel recipe so you can create bakery quality bagels at home - anytime. We will demonstrate the mixing stage, shape prepared dough, discover how to prove, boil and bake 4 bagels and 2 Bialys. You will then have a selection of delicious fillings available to make your dream sandwich - including Pinney’s Smoked Salmon and Smoked Mackerel, to be devoured immediately for lunch with coffee.

    Bialys are made with bagel dough and have toppings applied before baking - like super-puffy little pizzas. 

    Our bagel recipe contains eggs and we will handle other allergens such as gluten and milk. Make sure to let us know in advance if you have any dietary requirements.

    Stages of the day:

    Arrival:
    Make sure you arrive on time for fresh coffee and honey toast

    Stage 1: Mixing
    Get taught how to make the dough for your bagels and bialys.

    Stage 2: Shaping
    Make the perfect round shape of the bagels, learning the secrets of ensuring they are just right. 

    Stage 3: Fillings 
    Create some fillings to enjoy with your lovely bakes.

    Stage 4: Cooking: Poaching, boiling or baking
    Learn the different steps needed to ensure your bagel is perfectly cooked every time.

    End.
    You will leave with 3 bagels to take home and 2 bialys, as well as recipes and the knowledge you need to make them at home.
