At Pump Street we are committed to bringing you the best possible - and so we have created a box including twelve of our classic mince pies, wrapped and ready for shipment and storage. At the bakery we take great care in making these; we use pastel de nata moulds to ensure our pastry is thin and filling is deep. Our mincemeat is made in house with fresh apples from High House Farm, which is located just 2 miles from our bakery. We use the same Vostizza currants which we use in our renowned Eccles cakes as well as raisins, sultanas and lemon and orange peel and the right balance of spice and brandy. Perfectly served slightly warm with double cream or clotted cream.
Mince pies keep very well when kept airtight. They will last up to five days at room temperature, and much much longer in the freezer. If left out, the pastry will soften, but a few minutes in a medium-hot oven will crisp the pastry again.
We bake all our baked goods to order for online customers and ship via Courier (£7.50) only. We bake and dispatch just once a week on a Thursday, for delivery to you on a Friday. Please note: our bakery requires at least 24 hours, so please order by 10am on Tuesdays for delivery in the same week.
