    Iced Drinking Chocolate Recipe

A cold one for when it's too hot to drink the hot one.

This is a simple way to make a cold version of drinking chocolate. It keeps the flavour and depth of the hot version but served over ice. Just make the chocolate and brown sugar syrup ahead of time and mixed with milk when you’re ready to drink.

     (Makes 2)

    METHOD

    1. Add the chocolate, sugar and water to a saucepan and warm until the chocolate is fully dissolved and makes a light syrup.
    2. Decant into a jar or jug and chill overnight in the fridge.
    3. When you’re ready to drink, add the chocolate syrup to the whole milk and shake; pour over a tall glass full of ice.

You can use any of the Pump Street drinking chocolate tins here.
