Cocoa pressed in Suffolk from beans directly sourced from Akesson's Organic Estate in Ambanja, Madagascar.
Our rich, unsweetened cocoa powder is perfect for home baking. It is natural and non-alkalized therefore it retains the full flavour of the original cocoa bean. We make our cocoa powder by roasting single origin beans to maximize their inherent flavour, and then sorting them into the soft, inner nibs and discarding the husks. Then we release the cocoa butter by pressing the nibs. The remaining cocoa solids are finely ground to make this 100% natural cocoa powder.
