Colomba di Pasqua

A traditional Italian sweet bread, similar to Panettone, made with candied peel and covered in almonds.

Rich in butter and eggs, this delicate bread makes a perfect afternoon cake or pudding and leftovers (if there are any!) make the most unctuous bread and butter pudding.

We make these with 100% sourdough starter, adding no commercial yeast, in the most traditional way. These wrapped Colomba will last well past Easter.

A note regarding delivery: We bake to order for our online orders and ship via Courier. Our bakery needs 24 hours notice for this and baking and courier collection happen on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays only. When you place your order we will confirm the day of delivery.
