This limited edition Venezuela Caruao is a truly unique chocolate. It embodies all the benefits of searching out directly traded beans from small farms; the unique flavour that speaks of the history of the terroir. This bar is made with beans from the Cacao Caruao Project in Venezuela. The beans come from trees that are a hybrid of Criollo Merida and Guasare and only exist on this land. The resulting 75% chocolate has a light, auburn tone with low acidity and rich, deep flavour with notes of smoked hay and sage.
